IMPORTANT INFORMATION Many of the books and items sold by Magic Methods are intended for people who are already somewhat experienced with the skills and misdirection used in magic. Some of the items we sell would be beyond the ability of total beginners, and total beginners should not purchase these items. Throughout this website we have identified the relative experience level required for each item. Items classified as "Basic" or "Beginner" should be within the capapbility of anyone with an interest of magic. Other classifications indicate the need for further experience if a buyer is to get the most from a book or a trick. And those few books and tricks classified as "Advanced" do require skill and knowledge well beyond the average beginner's ability.

Description of magic tricks available here are all described from the viewpoint of a spectator. Since there is a "trick" involved, what the spectator perceives is different from what actually happens. Important: Due to the nature of magic tricks where the secret you receive is the major portion of the value, we do not permit returns or refunds once the secret has been revealed. Of course, if an item is defective in material or workmanship we'll happily replace it.

We ship primarily by U.S. Mail. Most of our shipments are books, or very lightweight packages. These ship cheaper by mail than by any other methods. Also shipments to countries other than the United States are simpler and easier by mail.

EXPRESS DELIVERY BY EXPRESS MAIL (GENERALLY NEXT DAY DELIVERY)
In special situations when an item is needed overnight, express shipping will get it there but it is expensive beginning at $16 for a one-pound package. Should you need express shipping the shopping cart will add a charge of $19 to your order, but the shipping cost charged will be the actual express shipping cost plus a packaging and handling fee of three dollars.

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA
Add a minimum of $8.00 or 20% to the total value of your order (whichever is greater) for shipping and handling. Lightweight items will be shipped by air when possible. Books and heavier items will be shipped via surface.br>
AIR MAIL SHIPMENT OF BOOKS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
Air mail shipment of books is prohibitively expensive. To some locations in the world, air-shipping costs will exceed the price of the book. We can ship books by air, but only if paid by credit card and under the understanding that full shipping costs will be charged to your card plus a packing and handling fee of three dollars.
